  • We went here on a weekday evening. The place wasn’t crowded, and we got seated right away, which was a nice start. However, there were a few things I feel others should be aware of: they served us complimentary nuts, but apparently, you’ll be charged if you eat them. Thankfully, we asked and had them removed. Also, we were charged for two cups of Chinese tea even though we were never informed it was price per cup — not a huge deal, but a heads-up would’ve been appreciated (or just out it on the menu). I guess it’s true what they say: "ask first or you'll get caught off guard." That said, once the food started coming, everything else faded away. We ordered five dishes, and honestly, every single one was excellent: Fried Noodles: Just like I remembered. Savory, packed with flavor, and with that beautiful wok hei aroma. The noodles had a slight al dente bite, and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Fried Salt Chicken: Golden, crispy skin, juicy meat, and not greasy at all. A simple dish that really hits the spot. Cereal Prawns: This one stole the show. Sweet, crunchy, fragrant — the prawns were big, juicy, and perfectly cooked even though they were fried. The cereal gave a fun, addictive texture. Truly the star of the night. Vegan Mun Tofu: A comforting dish. Silky tofu with a rich, savory sauce and tender mushrooms. Light yet flavorful — great balance. Yangzhou Fried Rice: Honestly one of the best fried rice dishes I’ve had in a while. The rice was cooked to perfection — every grain separated and well-seasoned. The veggies were crunchy and fresh. While the egg floss was missing (which is the hardest part to nail), the dish still blew me away. Major respect to the chef, because the taste were the same as i remembered and even improved more, especially the Cereal Prawn. It’s been almost 5 years since my last visit to Angke, and I’m glad to say it was worth the return. Despite the small hiccups, the food more than made up for it, the services team were very fast to respond and explain every single menu we asked with detail to the brim. It was a great dinner experience and a wonderful revisit to one of Jakarta’s long-standing Chinese restaurants. Until next time that's all, thank you Angke

  • Luxurious Chinese Food Restaurant in Ketapang. They have VIP rooms that can be reserved for eithet family or special occasions. The food is totally delicious with satisfying portions. • The legendary Angke is a classic Chinese Hakka style cuisine that has been in this location since 1987. Many of their dishes are so amazing that you can’t go wrong ordering anything you’d like really. I was, however, unable to eat that frog dish that has the slimy sauce on it, it’s just a bit too much for me. My favorite has got to be Fumak (Indian lettuce) Eel. Nowhere else has the eel’s crispiness excalated to this degree.

  • This is famous and legendary chinese restaurant , it got branch too, they have stood and tested by time. I think their food are decent although not that special. Expensive price for reason , their service are good, the place already renovated since last time i visit and it is improved immensely, although you can see there are something that kept from their previous place, which make this place lacking those whole luxury stuff.

  • Tasty food. Responsive and friendly people. The fried pork is crispy on the outside, moist in the inside. The steam fish was fresh, only thing is that the soy sauce taste was flat salty sweet and the sauce was way too much. Beans sprouts fried with salted fish was alright, a little overcooked. If you order hot Chinese which is served in a pot, it will charge per pax which is alright. The staff will insist that one Chinese per pax, and you request for another cup, it will be charged as another pax. The coconut jelly was worth a try - it serves in a whole coconut, so we ordered one to share among 3 adults of us. Sunday can be crowded. Saturday lunch hours were less crowded. People are responsive and friendly but not all of them.

  • Legendary restaurant since I was little. They upgrade progressively and become more modern. Right now, there are food delivery robots. With a fairly large area and many VIP rooms that can be booked, it is very suitable for family events or special events. The food menu is also delicious with satisfying portions. The service is also good, friendly and alert.
